The Freelance Proofreading Job
Our online proofreading job ensures that documents meet high standards in scholarly fields of writing. All of our freelance proofreaders must understand general editorial practices and standard reference sources and have excellent linguistic skills to identify errors and fix them appropriately.
Proofreaders will be emailed a paper and if the proofreading job is accepted will have seven days to e-mail the proofread paper back. Once you sign up with our service we keep your information in a database until you request to be taken off.
Our online proofreading job pays $1.00 per page. If the job is needed to be done within 3 days or overnight the pay increases. Our Freelance Proofreaders
- Make proper grammatical changes
- Verifying the appropriateness of in-text displays with the proper figures and pictures
- Check and correct spellings
- Checking the table of contents for the right chapter numbers, titles, and subtitles.
- Ensure the correct and consecutive numbering of various elements like: page number, chapter number, and numbered lists
- Ensure the consistency of headings and running heads
- Verify consistency in typefaces throughout the document
