HSPT Prep

We offer HSPT preparation to eighth-grade students who are looking for acceptance or placement in the ninth-grade classes of parochial schools. HSPT tutoring has the additional benefit of helping students with their classwork, which is often related to and builds upon topics covered on the exam. For HSPT preparation, we assign the student two HSPT tutors who are credentialed teachers. An English teacher is assigned for the verbal, reading and language portions of the exam. A math teacher will tutor the quantitative reasoning and mathematics sections of the exam.

When a tutoring package is purchased the hours can be mixed and matched, depending on the subjects with which the student needs the most help. Once we are contacted by a client we connect them with their HSPT tutors. Tutors keep flexible schedules and are available to meet at a time and place convenient to you, from early in the morning to late in the evening. We recommend structuring the tutoring sessions using a study guide that contains practice tests. The tutors will cover the material and at the end of the session  they will summarize the student’s progress for both the students and the parents.
