Comprehension skills learned in English class are crucial for students' acquisition of knowledge in all subject areas. When a child is struggling to read English, it can negatively affect all school studies, especially in the elementary grades. Our English tutoring programs bring a student's reading skills and comprehension up to an acceptable academic level.
For younger students, our English tutors can help to improve spelling, handwriting, and creative writing skills. Our tutors will help older students understand and appreciate different literary genre and assist with advanced writing projects.
All of our English tutors are credentialed teachers who tutor in their specific area of expertise and provide private tutoring lessons based upon academic content standards for kindergarten through grade 12, as adopted by the California State Board of Education.
