These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Elite Home Tutoring website (elitehometutoring.com) and our tutoring services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services. Tutoring for a minor must be arranged and authorized by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the account and for agreeing to these Terms on the student’s behalf.

2. Our services

Elite provides one-on-one tutoring by matching students with qualified tutors for in-home or online sessions, subject to tutor availability in your area. We offer a complimentary introductory trial session so you can evaluate the match. Available subjects, formats, and scheduling depend on your request details and our current tutor network.

3. Scheduling, hours, and payment

Tutoring is generally provided on a prepaid basis. Purchased hours function like credits that may be used flexibly across sessions. Fees are quoted based on the grade, subject, format, and scheduling of your request. Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider, and you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Please provide reasonable notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a session. If we are unable to continue your tutor match, unused prepaid hours may be refunded or applied toward a new tutor. Specific arrangements can be confirmed with our team.

5. Non-solicitation

Elite invests in recruiting, screening, and matching its tutors. During your engagement with Elite and for six (6) months after your final session, you agree not to engage a tutor introduced to you by Elite for private tutoring outside of Elite.

6. Conduct and safety

Students, parents, guardians, and tutors agree to interact respectfully and to provide a safe and appropriate environment for sessions. We may decline or discontinue service for conduct that is unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Elite Home Tutoring website, name, logo, and content are the property of Elite or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission. Tutoring materials and lesson approaches provided during sessions are for the enrolled student’s personal use.

8. Reviews and submissions

If you send us feedback, reviews, or other submissions, you grant us permission to use and display them in connection with our services. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive, or objectionable.

9. Third-party links and tools

Our website and services may reference or use third-party tools and links. These are provided “as is,” and we are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices. Please review any third-party terms and policies independently.

10. Text messaging

If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive service and, where permitted, promotional text messages from Elite. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance.

11. No guarantee of results

We are committed to quality tutoring, but academic outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific grade, test score, or result.

12. Disclaimer of warranties; limitation of liability

Our website and services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elite Home Tutoring is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elite Home Tutoring and its owners, employees, and tutors from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the revised version on this page. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
