How this is figured
Your final grade is what you've already earned plus what you score on the rest of the class. We solve for the average you'd need on the part that's still to come:
Needed average = (target − current × percent done) ÷ percent remaining
Example: you have an 85% with 60% of the class graded, and you want to finish at 90%. You'd need to average 97.5% on the last 40%.
