Privacy Policy
Read the Elite Home Tutoring privacy policy for information collection, communications, and website data practices.
Effective date: July 24, 2026
Elite Home Tutoring (“Elite,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through elitehometutoring.com and our tutoring services, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. “Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to a particular individual or household.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you contact us, request a free trial, schedule tutoring, register an account, or communicate with us, including:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and service area or ZIP code;
- Student details you choose to share — such as the student’s first name, grade level, subjects, goals, and scheduling preferences;
- Payment information — handled by our third-party payment provider (see “How we protect your information”);
- Communications — messages, emails, texts, and notes exchanged with our team;
- Website usage data — such as pages visited and device or browser information collected automatically through cookies and analytics.
When we collect information
We collect information when you submit a form on our website, request or schedule a free trial, book tutoring, register or update an account, respond to a communication, or otherwise interact with our site and services.
How we use your information
- To match your student with an appropriate tutor and coordinate sessions;
- To contact you by email, text message, or phone about your request, scheduling, and services;
- To process payments and manage your account;
- To respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
- To improve our website, services, and communications;
- To send service updates and, where permitted, occasional information about our services (you may opt out at any time).
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide our services — for example, with the tutor assigned to your student, and with service providers such as our payment processor and scheduling and communication tools that act on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including SSL encryption on our website and limiting access to personal information to personnel who need it. Payments are handled by a secure third-party gateway; full payment card numbers are not stored on our own servers.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, understand site usage, and improve your experience. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent; some parts of the site may not function properly if you disable them.
Analytics and Google
We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use our site. Google may use cookies to collect usage data. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Your privacy rights (California)
Consistent with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents may request access to the personal information we hold about them, request deletion of that information, and ask that we not sell it (we do not sell personal information). To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Do Not Track
Because there is not yet a consistent industry standard for “Do Not Track” signals, our website does not currently respond to them.
Children’s privacy
Our services are intended to be arranged by a parent or guardian on behalf of a student. When tutoring is arranged for a minor, we collect the student information provided to us by the parent or guardian for the purpose of delivering tutoring. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental involvement. If you believe a child has provided us information without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data breach notification
If a data breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected users promptly, consistent with applicable law.
Email and text communications
We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and applicable messaging rules. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email, and opt out of text messages by replying STOP. We may still send you non-marketing messages related to your account or scheduled sessions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and the “Effective date” above will be updated accordingly.
