Quiz Grader & Reteach List

Paste your answer key, tag each question with the skill it tests, drop in your students' answers — and get scores, per-question results and a reteach list in one pass.

Grading a practice test tells you a score. This tells you what to do next session. Add a skill tag beside each answer and the tool rolls every student's answers up by skill, so instead of "missed 7, 11 and 14" you get "fractions: 2 of 6 — reteach". Works for multiple choice, true/false, numeric and short answers. Everything runs in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and the page prints clean.

1. Answer key

One answer per line, in question order. Add a skill or topic after a vertical bar to unlock the reteach breakdown — for example A | Fractions. Question numbers are optional; matching ignores capitals and spaces.

No answer key yet.

2. Student answers

Add one student at a time. Answers can be typed straight through (ACBDA), separated by commas or spaces (A, C, B, 3/4, True), or numbered. A blank answer counts as missed.

Add an answer key and at least one student to see scores, per-question results and the reteach list.

How the matching and the flags work
    • Matching ignores capitals and spaces. 3 / 4 matches 3/4, and true matches True. Anything else has to match exactly, so keep numeric keys in one consistent form.
    • Skill tags are optional but do the real work. Reuse the same wording on every question that tests the same skill — the tool groups by the tag text.
    • A short answer set is padded, not rejected. If a student's list is shorter than the key, the remaining questions count as missed and show as blank.
    • The flags are thresholds, not judgments: under 50% correct reads as reteach, 50–79% as review, 80% and up as solid. With one student those are simply right or wrong — the skill roll-up is where a single student's pattern shows.

Your key and your students stay in this browser only. Nothing is sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data clears the tool.
