- Typical spring WCPM (50th percentile, oral reading norms): Grade 1 ≈ 55, Grade 2 ≈ 100, Grade 3 ≈ 110, Grade 4 ≈ 120, Grade 5 ≈ 135, Grade 6 ≈ 150.
- Accuracy guide: 95–100% = independent, 90–94% = instructional, below 90% = frustration level.
