Meet Aanand T.

While pursuing his master's degree at the University of Rochester, Aanand was a teaching assistant for a graduate course in Organic Electronics, primarily encompassing organic photovoltaics (OPV) and organic light-emitting diodes (OLED). He set up office hours to answer questions from students and graded assignments.

During his PhD at Colorado State University, Aanand served as an instructor for courses such as Statistics, Mechanical Design, and Thermo-fluids/thermo-sciences laboratory for undergraduate students ranging from freshmen to seniors. The statistics class for seniors involved topics such as Regression, T-test and Tukey Test. He was responsible for conducting labs for more than a hundred students.

The design course had students conceptualize, design, and build something on their own as part of a team for a class project, which Aanand guided them through. The exercise was extremely enjoyable for the instructors and students alike. There was also grading of assignments and the project as part of his duties.

The thermo-sciences/thermo-fluids laboratory consisted of setting up and conducting lab sessions every week for multiple batches of students, varying from three during the fall to four in the spring. This entailed working with technicians to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and being available to students for help.
