Meet Alec S.
Alec spent the 2025-26 school year working at an Oakland high school as an instructional aide, primarily in the special education department. He offered support to a wide array of students with various disabilities and learning styles, and he really enjoyed making connections with them and providing tailored support that incorporated their preferences and academic goals. It meant a lot to him, and he is thrilled to continue providing similar services to students.
He currently also tutors high school students in Fremont, primarily in SAT prep and English in general. It has been great to work with them in more personal, focused settings. Every Elite tutor is personally interviewed, reference-checked, and background-checked before working with a student.
