Meet Andrew S.

Tutoring has been one of the greatest gifts life has afforded Andrew. He has tutored all kinds of students from Pre-K to 12th grade, and his tutoring strengths lie in English, reading, writing, creative writing, fiction and non-fiction, public speaking, and acting. He is passionate about each and every student he has worked with.

He has tutored for seventeen years and has also worked with students with learning disabilities and autistic students. His philosophy is to meet students where they are in their development. He also pushes his students to be their very best, and he expects accountability for the work completed between sessions, since that is where retention is either built or lost. He cares deeply for each student he tutors and strives to help them develop not only in their schoolwork but in their lives. His tutoring helps students with a lifelong gift: confidence. Andrew has a daughter of his own and understands the needs inherent to the development of a student's mind.
