Meet Bene F.

Bene has tutored for math and TA'd (was a teaching assistant) for two different courses during her time at Stanford. One was for the freshman Ernest Houston Johnson Scholars program, and the other was a year-long TA-ship where she served as the main course instructor, assisting students with their academic theme presentations. Their public speaking, organizational skills, and scientific/social science communication skills were greatly improved after working with her in one-on-one coaching sessions.

She also was a Ravenswood Reads Reading tutor with Stanford's Haas Public Service program, working on phonics, word patterns, sentence structure, and broadening the vocabulary of an elementary student.

Bene has worked as a tutor/teacher for a broad age range from elementary through college, specifically high school algebra and college chemistry.
