Meet Benjamin S.

Benjamin is a recent college graduate who ran his own one-on-one tutoring business for four years. He has worked with students of all ages and experience levels across several subjects, with the most experience in English and math.

He focuses on meeting each student where they are. He enjoys helping high-achieving students push for top scores on tests like the PSAT, and he is just as comfortable working with students who are struggling with engagement or motivation. Because every student learns differently, he works to find the approach that fits each one, and he believes every student has the capacity to succeed.

He earned a B.S. in Business from Babson College.

He tutors English, reading, writing, essay writing, and literature, including AP English Language and AP English Literature; math from prealgebra and algebra through Algebra 2, Integrated Math 1 through 4, precalculus, calculus, and Calculus 2, including AP Calculus AB and BC; statistics and AP Statistics; and economics, microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, history, AP US History, AP US Government and Politics, political science, and sociology. He also tutors SAT prep and works with elementary students in math and English, including math competition coaching.
