Meet Cooper M.

Cooper has experience as a paid college peer tutor, working with two college students in Introductory Physics for one semester. She met with them one on one and also together as a pair, reviewing lectures and going over homework and practice problems together.

As a volunteer high school tutor, Cooper worked one on one with a high school sophomore weekly for two and a half years. She mostly focused on math homework, including algebra 1 and geometry, and on reviewing and reinforcing concepts from her student's lecture notes. She occasionally helped with English homework, such as essays, as well.

Cooper also volunteers with a children's program at a family shelter, where she currently works with unhoused elementary and middle school students in an after-school program once per week. She assists with school homework and provides additional reading and math support, including pre-algebra.
