Daniel was program coordinator for the IEEE Cal Poly student branch from 2018 to 2019. He headed an afterschool program to teach robotics fundamentals to K-6 students, focusing on collaboration and problem solving, with a capstone project at the end of each quarter. His typical cohort included 30 students.
Daniel was a tutor at a tutoring company in 2017. He worked with groups of up to 6 students at a time to provide homework help and grade papers. He typically worked on Algebra assignments, but occasionally helped with geometry or science.
