Meet Dean N.

Dean has been tutoring for the past fifteen years in Physics, Math, and Chemistry. He started tutoring when he was an undergrad in Electrical Engineering at SCU. At first, he started helping his friends with their classes in math, physics, and chemistry. As he continued working with them, they kept saying statements like "You should really consider being a teacher," "You are really good at explaining things," "Your explanation is so clear," or "I would have aced my calculus and physics classes in high school if my teachers had taught the way you do." Some of them even offered to pay him if he would tutor them on a regular basis, which he did. He continued to tutor throughout his undergrad years as well as his graduate years at SCU. In fact, he enjoyed teaching so much that he kept on doing it to this day. Through the years, he has worked mostly with middle and high school students, but he has also worked with kids as young as 4th graders and adults at university or community colleges. His number one goal is the academic success of his students.
