Meet Duncan R.
Duncan is a recent UC Santa Barbara graduate. Both in high school and in university, he had strong mentorship and tutoring opportunities, and through those programs he developed the skills to help students reach their personal goals in their courses. Over time, he found a genuine interest in supporting and assisting others in their educational goals.
He has mainly taught algebra, geometry, and organic chemistry, and he has a strong foundation in biology, which was his major. His skills also extend to the other sciences, as well as English, writing, and reading.
Duncan works to truly understand the needs and goals of his students. Lessons are tailored around their current level, with an emphasis on pushing them to fundamentally understand the material and then critically apply it in different cases.
