Meet Eleanore J.
Eleanore recently obtained a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certification in July 2023, so she is familiar with up-to-date teaching methodologies. As part of her TEFL certification, she completed 150 hours of coursework and 20 hours of practicum. The latter was completed through teaching in an ESL Academy in South Korea, where she practice-taught elementary to middle school Korean students.
In addition, Eleanore has had occasional tutoring experience with children and adults in English and Math over the past 10+ years. The areas she tutored were essay writing, reading comprehension, ESL, pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry.
