Meet Iniya K.

Iniya is a cum laude graduate of the University of California, Irvine, where she completed a B.A. in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and management. During college, she was involved in the Accounting Association and the Undergraduate Finance Association, which greatly improved her ability to network with professionals and host events.

During her senior year of college, she was a Peer Academic Advisor for the Paul Merage School of Business, where she advised undergraduate students on planning their class schedules, transferring community college credits, adding a minor or double major, and applying for graduation.

She has worked with students of all levels and is versed in a variety of subjects, from SAT prep to precalculus, AP Biology, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP English Language, and AP World History. She can also help with executive functioning, organization, and study skills, as well as business-related college-level subjects, career counseling, and college essays and applications.

When tutoring a student, Iniya is patient and supportive, and she makes the learning engaging through activities. She also encourages students to complete as much of a problem or assignment on their own as they can, to build confidence.

In her free time, Iniya enjoys reading, hiking near Laguna Beach, and trying new cafes. Every Elite tutor is personally interviewed, reference-checked, and background-checked before working with a student.
