James started tutoring in high school. As a way to make some extra money, his mother referred him to teach basic English and Math to students who were in junior high.
During graduate school (2008 - 2009), James attended graduate level classes at San Jose State University, and privately tutored two junior high school students. They went over homework, prepped for tests, etc.
