Meet Julie S.

As a recent college graduate, Julie still holds clear memories of her learning journey as a high schooler and can pinpoint easily the points of confusion brought about by school curriculum that can be filled with the instruction of a tutor who has lived through the same high school experience in the neighborhood.

Growing up, Julie was the oldest of four siblings and she held the responsibility of independently developing successful study methods, all of which she has passed on to each of her younger siblings, who have all shown significant improvement in their academic performance since.

Julie's teaching methods have proven to be successful during her time as a peer tutor in high school, where she successfully guided several disadvantaged students taking an honors level course into passing the class on their own merit. Throughout college, Julie has remained a reliable guide for her classmates in all courses, whom they would seek out for her clearer interpretation of the materials, on top of her professional work in teaching as a teaching assistant.

Julie's tutoring skills will not only assist students with gaps in their knowledge left behind in the classroom, but will elevate students to perform better academically to set them up for future success.
