Jun believes education is not simply about passing on knowledge, but about bringing out the best in each child. She sees each student as an individual, nurturing their natural curiosity, building confidence, and helping them grow into independent, self-driven learners.

With over 10 years of experience across classroom, small-group, and one-on-one settings, she brings both a whole-child perspective and strong academic support. Her background in computer engineering adds analytical thinking and problem-solving to her teaching, while her experience in language and literacy helps students find their voice and express their ideas. She wants every child she works with to discover not only what they can learn, but what they are capable of — and who they can become.

She earned an M.S. in Computer Engineering from Arizona State University. She tutors Mandarin at every level, from Mandarin 1 through Mandarin 4, as well as ESL. Every Elite tutor is personally interviewed, reference-checked, and background-checked before working with a student.
