Meet Liezel L.
Liezel believes that the role of an educator or tutor is to create an atmosphere in which students feel valued, are free to express themselves, are enthusiastic about learning, and can take ownership of their education. She encourages critical thinking among students and does not promote memorization alone as a method of learning. Her teaching philosophy is best summarized by the quotation: "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
Liezel studied at Ateneo de Davao University and the University of Nevada, Reno, and tutors science for students in San Jose. Every Elite tutor is personally interviewed, reference-checked, and background-checked before working with a student.
