Meet Linda S.

Linda is a retired teacher of 34 years and had the pleasure of serving elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as acting principal and assistant principal in San Diego, Riverside, and LA County. During her time as a teacher and administrator, the students she served demonstrated tremendous growth in Reading, Writing, and Language as indicated by a multitude of assessment results.

As principal, Linda led an elementary staff of 65 adults and a school of 800 students towards academic success by implementing and designing research-based programs that fostered results. Under her leadership, the school went from a C to a B school, where benchmark test scores increased in both Mathematics and Language Arts, academic growth exceeded the district-wide average, and individual student data grew by approximately 10-12%. As she shared this success with other educators, many chose to implement some of the same activities, programs, and data-driven instruction that had proven success.
