Meet Lyndsay T.

Lyndsay's teaching experience is primarily at the college level, having been a Graduate Student Teaching Assistant during her time in graduate school. She was primarily attached to English courses or GASP (Global Arts Studies Program) courses, which were essentially visual culture/media courses. She was also afforded the opportunity to teach a summer session of Intro to Media and Performance Studies in 2024.

As a TA, Lyndsay was responsible for facilitating discussion sections for the courses she was assigned to, wherein she would pose questions for students to think through and answer in conjunction with the literature they were assigned to read. Part of that too was having to teach students how to write essays proficiently. She spent many office hours walking students through how to construct arguments for essay prompts to earn a passing grade. Lyndsay is not afraid to say she knows how to break down essay writing for students so that they no longer feel stumped by the prospect.
