Norbert has taught foundational math for a decade at Job Corps in San Francisco, CA. This population was extremely diverse, requiring individualized learning plans, and about a third of his students had IEPs. Additionally, mentoring behavior was essential so students could succeed and eventually become self-reliant.
Additionally, Norbert taught ESL and Math in Asia for about four years previously. He taught in Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan in language and government schools.
