Questions about this tool

What does this tool do?

It builds a set of 6-8 open-ended, Socratic discussion questions based on the subject area and thinking level you choose. Add an optional topic and every question is tailored to it, then print or regenerate as many fresh sets as you like.

Is it free and private?

Yes. It's completely free with no sign-up, and nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere. The entire tool runs right in your browser.

Any tips for using it well?

Start with the Mixed level to get a natural arc from understanding to debate, and enter a specific topic (a book title, event, or concept) so the prompts land. Regenerate a couple of times and keep the questions that fit your class.
