Alex enjoys all that tutoring entails: breaking information down into clear, approachable steps, understanding a student's specific needs, struggles, and learning style, and being able to genuinely connect with and help others. She is patient, encouraging, and focused on helping students build both understanding and confidence. Her main teaching experience was teaching basic science to elementary-level students at Orange High School while she was in college, through the STEMtors club, and she regularly helps friends, family members, and new coworkers learn and understand unfamiliar concepts and processes.
