Meet Desiree R.

Desiree has a little over ten years of experience in education. She is currently a math instructional coach, where she coaches teachers on refining their teaching practices and additionally works with students struggling with math. She conducts and designs intervention programs to help students meet their full potential. Before this position, she taught all subjects as an upper grade elementary teacher for 8 years. She was nominated as Teacher of the Year for her school district.

Additionally, Desiree has worked as a teacher's assistant in high school and helped tutor high school and middle school students. She focuses on best practices to help students, drawing from her personal experiences as both a student and a teacher. In her college days, she graduated both times with Honors. She also gained experience working with GATE students, serving as a GATE Coordinator for 9 years.
