Meet Godfrey O.
Godfrey completed tutor training through the Merrill Classroom Connection program at UC Santa Cruz, where he learned effective strategies and practices for working with students. As a tutor, he is good at spotting which foundational basics a student is missing. When those basics get the emphasis they need, with clear demonstrations, he finds that a student's understanding improves noticeably, and students often get excited when something they have struggled with finally clicks or when he shows them an insightful way to think about a problem.
He earned a B.A. in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz.
He tutors computer science, computer programming, and Python, including AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles, as well as prealgebra, algebra, Algebra 2, Algebra 2/Trig , calculus, AP Calculus AB, chemistry, and physics.
