Meet Ishita B.

Ishita has taught homeschool, pods, tutored, and worked in a traditional classroom. She has worked one on one, in multi-age classrooms, and with class sizes from 2-30. She also has plenty of experience over her 8 years in education working with elementary and middle school students.

Ishita enjoys the one on one aspect of things because she can really help a student reach their potential. She loves project based learning and gamifying lessons to customize her students' learning. She believes every student has "genius" in them and that the right support is what can help them see it. Learning is life long and it can be fun, and that is what she tries to encourage her students to see as well. She often will use a lot of growth mindset language and help them build their own intrinsic motivation as well as help support them socially/emotionally.
