Meet Jason C.
Jason is a mathematics graduate from UC Davis who genuinely enjoys helping students discover that math can be easier and more enjoyable than they might think. He believes every student learns differently, so his goal is to create a comfortable environment where they feel safe asking questions, making mistakes, and taking their time to understand the material.
He was also a Science Camp Campbell counselor, where he supervised and supported young students during hands-on science activities and educational camp programs.
His approach to tutoring is centered around understanding rather than memorization. He likes to break difficult problems into smaller steps, explain the reasoning behind each step, and then encourage students to work through problems themselves. His goal isn't just to help a student finish their homework; it is to help them develop the skills and confidence to approach the next problem independently.
