Meet Jon P.

Jon has been working in education since 1997, primarily as a Mild/Moderate Special Education teacher at the elementary level. His primary focus has been with students in grades 4th through 6th. He has also taught students from kindergarten through 3rd grade, as well as 8th-grade Special Education students. Jon brings energy, organizational skills, and compassion for students to his tutoring. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1995 with a degree in English Literature. He considers Language Arts to be his strongest subject and is confident working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Additionally, he is comfortable teaching math and believes he can make a positive impact on students from kindergarten through 8th grade. He also loves the subjects of science and history and feels comfortable tutoring those subjects.

Another strength Jon brings is his ability to build strong relationships with families. He is approachable and prioritizes a customer-service approach, showing up on time, being knowledgeable, and staying organized when working with families.
