Meet Josie C.
Josie has experience working closely with students and their families to provide personalized academic and mentorship support. She has tutored 3rd and 4th grade students one-on-one in reading comprehension and writing, tailoring lessons and assignments to their individual interests and learning needs. She has also tutored and taught at the college level in mathematics, astronomy, Python, and physics, working with students both individually and in small groups.
In addition, she has mentored students through peer mentorship programs, where she supported students academically, helped them build confidence, and served as a positive role model. These experiences have helped her develop a patient, encouraging teaching style focused on both academic growth and helping students feel confident and excited about learning.
