Lisa is an experienced educator with over ten years in elementary education. She recently earned a Master's degree in Literacy and Language Education from CSUF and now works as a reading intervention teacher. Dedicated to an explicit and systematic approach, she strives to ensure that every student acquires the foundational skills necessary to become a proficient reader. Her commitment to evidence-based practices underscores her teaching philosophy and drives her effort to differentiate learning for each student. She also works on helping students build confidence in themselves as readers and foster a love for reading based on their unique interests.
