Meet Lizbeth L.
Lizbeth has extensive experience in education, ranging from classroom teaching to one-on-one tutoring and program coordination. As a Student Teacher at Kennedy High School, she actively engaged in professional development, collaborated with mentors, designed and executed lesson plans, and supported students. From this experience she learned to excel in building strong teacher-student relationships, designing NGSS-aligned lesson plans, adapting curriculum for diverse learners, implementing effective engagement strategies, and utilizing strong assessment techniques.
As a Substitute Teacher at Samueli Academy, Lizbeth implements lesson plans, supervises students, and fosters a structured, engaging learning environment. Her tutoring role with a tutoring company allows her to assess student progress, create personalized learning plans, and provide individualized academic support.
Previously, she served as a Think Together Site Coordinator & Program Leader, where she led a team, developed curriculum, coordinated enrichment programs, and ensured grant compliance. Her experience also includes working as an Explorium Lead at the Orange County Fair, where she supervised children's activities, and as a Volunteer Assistant Soccer Coach for Club America, where she organized training sessions and motivated young athletes.
