Patrick's tutoring and teaching experience involves not only instructing students on the subject matter (i.e., what to do and how to do it) but also guiding them on how to study. This approach helps them become stronger independent learners every day, such as fully utilizing available resources, employing the Socratic method to keep students engaged in lessons rather than providing answers immediately, and teaching back to the instructor. This experience is informed by his perspective on taking closed-book tests, as students will encounter many such assessments as they grow older.
