Meet Lorraine M.

Lorraine has been tutoring for many years. She started doing this when teaching homeschooled children for a family for almost six years. They referred her, others referred her, and she continued to do it throughout her full-time teaching job. She got to a point where she had to turn down jobs. She specializes in teaching English. Her professional writing experience helped her become an expert in writing and grammar. Through her 20 years of teaching, she has become an expert in teaching children how to read. She enjoys this.

Although her area of expertise is English, she doesn't mind teaching elementary math too. She taught a student, who she tutored for three years, up to 6th grade math and some algebra. She started this when he was in first grade. He is probably doing geometry by now, and she plans to see him and his siblings, who she also tutored, soon.
