Meet Mona Y.
Mona Y. has been tutoring since 2000 and works with elementary students in Fremont on foundational math and English. Mona holds a B.A. and an M.A. in English language and literature, from Alexandria University and Acacia University, and brings a patient, nurturing style to early learners. Lessons build the basics that everything else depends on: number sense and arithmetic fluency on the math side, and phonics, reading comprehension, and early writing on the English side — always at a pace that keeps young students encouraged.
