Meet Rachel B.

Rachel began tutoring over 15 years ago as a volunteer classroom tutor at her high school, focusing on math and writing. Since then, she has tutored over 50 private clients and led classroom lesson plans for 10-15 student classes. She has consistently worked with students who have a variety of disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and cerebral palsy. She also worked for the United Nations developing educational curriculum and led larger-group educational sessions for hundreds of students in schools and juvenile detention centers across Kenya as part of UNODC's Education for Justice initiative. Throughout the years, Rachel developed a special love, interest, and talent for tutoring collegiate-level writing subjects and collegiate admissions. Both her BA and MPhil are honors degrees (summa cum laude and magna cum laude), and she has demonstrated her proficiency in collegiate writing. She has also received admission to every college she has applied to, including a recent fully-funded PhD admission, and she is very passionate about helping others receive the admissions acceptances they are working toward. She has also worked with various international students, teaching both UK and US-style graduate-level writing.
