Meet Rebecca R.
Rebecca has helped students of all ages develop their skills and confidence in English. During college, she spent her summers promoting youth literacy initiatives, including teaching summer school to incoming second graders. After college, she earned her single-subject English credential by completing a residency at a middle school, where she taught 8th-grade English. She then returned to her high school alma mater to teach AP Literature and AP English Language courses. She takes pride in her ability to connect with students who have diverse learning styles and needs. Her students often describe her as passionate and supportive.
