Meet Ruanna O.
Ruanna taught third grade for Oakland Unified School District for 5 years. She also student taught for one year for Berkeley Unified and Oakland Unified while she was in graduate school getting her Master's degree and teaching credential, and taught English for one year in Spain. Additionally, she worked as a tutor for a tutoring company in the Bay Area and worked at various schools in Palo Alto. Lastly, she volunteered for The Edible Schoolyard Project in the school garden, supporting classroom teachers and middle school students.
