Meet Jordan S.
Jordan has a plethora of experience working with students of all ages. She earned a master's degree in child and family development from San Diego State University, and currently teaches their First Year Seminar courses. In addition, she tutored for three years at Fullerton College in college writing and child development.
She interned in 3rd, 4th, and 6th grade classrooms, working with students on writing, reading, and essay development, and is looking to broaden her experience working with middle school and high school students.
Jordan is passionate about student success, believing that students work best when they feel seen, heard, and valued, and when their interests, goals, and abilities are prioritized. She guides students through research-based study skills, task management strategies, and real-world applications to ensure student success.
