She has extensive experience and a strong educational background in the field of ESL/English, both as a coach and as a teacher. During her over 30+ years of teaching experience, she has successfully taught English both online and in-person to students from different English proficiency levels, ages, cultural, religious, socio-economic and educational backgrounds.
Serpil is highly knowledgeable in the content and structure of the English language as well as the methodology for teaching English to non-native speakers. Additionally, she has cultural awareness and sensitivity to second language development/acquisition.
She is an experienced curriculum developer as well.
As for her educational background in this field, Serpil has a Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Degree in teaching English and California Teaching Credentials in teaching ESL.
