Meet Kiana H.

As an undergraduate at UC Davis, Kiana had the opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant for three psychology courses. Through these experiences, she developed a passion for helping others to gain knowledge through deepening their understanding of class material. Following this passion led her to become an Academic Tutor for a tutoring company, where she worked with a variety of students for a year. Her primary focus is supporting K-8 students with ELA and math, and with each new student she meets, she grows her love for both academics and for helping young minds through these early years in school that ultimately set the foundation of later academic experiences. She strives to work with her students to build a solid foundation from which they can continue to grow and succeed, even after their time working together.
